A landmark achievement in maritime education: 311 Vocational High School (EPAL) students have achieved admission into Maritime Academies and Shipping Universities by participating in the Adopt a Ship by Project Connect program.
Since 2018, the Adopt a Ship (AaS) program has evolved from an educational initiative into a powerful, unified movement “vanguard” driven by faith in the future to come generations, a commitment to creative evolution, and an unwavering drive to lead rather than follow.
Project Connect Proven Impact: More Than a Curriculum Adopt a Ship is the bridge between classroom learning and the vast reality of the maritime world. Project Connect emphasizes that the organization is not merely reacting to developments in maritime education but it is actively shaping them. They view their community as a living testament to the power of combining maritime heritage with modern innovation, creating a unified platform where industry, educators, and students move in unison to secure the employability of youth. Hence, the future of the Workforce 2036.
“We are deeply moved by these accomplishments and take immense pride in the dedication our students have shown. We are truly inspired by them and wish to all every possible success and fulfillment as they embark on this exciting journey into the maritime world”, states Dr. Adamantia Spanaka, the program developer. The Project Connect leadership team extends its warmest congratulations to every one of these young professionals.
Continually Making the Difference.
From its inception to its standing as a national benchmark, Project Connect remains dedicated to its mission: providing more than just information, but a clear pathway to employability.
