Contships Management, the world’s leading provider of container feeders (900-1500 TEU) has supported PPA-COSCO Shipping investment in Greece by dry-docking 23 container vessels since COSCO took over the PPA facilities (Ship repair zone) in Piraeus.
Mr Nikolas D. Pateras, Chairman of Contships and Mr Yu Zenggan, Chairman of PPA-COSCO Shipping, expressed their willingness to continue this cooperation and a further 8 Contships vessels are scheduled to be dry-docked in PPA over the next 12 months.
A lunch was hosted for the occasion at the ''Contships Building'' in Athens with the top management of both companies present.
The Ambassador of People’s Republic of China Mr Xiao Junzheng honored both companies with his presence.
